and for Easter, I love Easter so this year I've made a Easter tree, how did I manage without an Easter tree…just fine I'm sure but it's presence is making me very happy indeed :-)
My Easter tree is sitting on a side board that I hated and was ready to trash, however in the spirit of up-cycling and the facts that it was a, a solid piece of furniture, b, I don't have the money for a new one, and c, I don't really want a new one! I decided to give it a make over with some chalk paint, because I do not like sanding at all and you can just paint it on.
Well it turned out just perfect with a far better finish than I was expecting and I really enjoyed it.
Happy weekend everyone, be back soon

Oh, your sideboard looks great and so pretty with your easter tree! I have some pussy willow stems in a big vase which I've hung some egg ornaments on. Just wondering what I can hang there once Easter's over! Rx
ReplyDeleteThank you Rachel, I love it now. I love the twigs in a vase so much, I think I will keep them and add crochet flowers and hearts so I can keep it after winter x
