It's been so busy here, all for good reasons, I love being busy. Unfortunately it doesn't leave much time for sewing and crafting, definitely a winter sport for me I'm afraid. I'm still doing a little stitching in the evenings, mostly hand stitching because I find it so relaxing and enjoyable. This is taken from Scandinavian stitches ( still my favourite sewing book ).
I think it will be a lavender bag once finished. I love the colour and once again beautiful linen, my stitching isn't perfect but it's handmade so thats fine.
Is anyone else struggling to drag themselves in from the garden to do crafty things and.....ahem.....house work ?

Such pretty embroidery. I'm am still yet to make anything from that book!! I don't have the garden problem, by the time I get home from work it's cold outside :0(
ReplyDeleteAlways struggle to do the house work...lol. Your hand stitching is beautiful, only you notice the imperfect bits xx
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Yes, I always struggle with housework too, but that's because I'm a lazy so-and-so!! Your embroidery is beautiful, the stitching looks perfect to me! I have that book too but also haven't managed to make anything from it yet, I think I will have to move it to the top of my "to-make-things-from" list!

That book is on my wish list. Is it really lovely? must be if it's your fave.
ReplyDeleteYes I agree with Rachel, excellent stitching.
And no I do not have the same problem. I'm crap at gardening and I don't like it. But I still avoid the housework, but keep that to yourself!
